Ask Me Anything ALS – Finding Meaning as a Caregiver

December 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EST

Free

ALS brings with it a lot of uncertainty and loss emotionally and physically – for the person living with ALS and their caregivers and loved ones. As a caregiver, you’ll experience many different emotions along this journey, and with so much to learn plus the shock of diagnosis, it can feel like you’re lost in a foreign country without a map.

Join us on December 6th at 6pm ET for a conversation where we will discuss how current and former caregivers and loved ones to people living with ALS have coped with the mental and emotional reactions to an ALS diagnosis, the exhaustion that often accompanies it, and how they prioritized finding meaning and purpose through and beyond ALS.

Panelists will include:

  • Katrina Byrd, former caregiver
  • Maya Carter, current caregiver
  • Bob Scannell, former caregiver
  • Maya Hammond, current caregiver
